REPORTS TO: Production Manager - Legends Global Merchandise

THE ROLE

Inspects garments for defects in screen printing. Pack finished garments according to specifications on work orders. Sets up a heat printing press for production runs and produces the product.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Scans garments to detect defects such as variations in color

·      Examines fabric for dropped stitches, holes, and stains

·      Folds garment

·      Removes spots and stains from garments

·      Read and interpret packaging instructions on work orders

·      Operate either an automatic or manual L-sealer

·      Prints & adheres UPC labels & hangtags using a tagging gun

·      Adheres UPC labels & hangtags using a tagging gun

·      Obtain work order & design from teams

·      Layout design as instructed by work order

·      Pull blank stock needed for each work order

·      Prioritize work orders and sales orders for production and picking

·      Check for rejected prints

·      Ability to be cross-trained in other areas of the Production/DC

·      Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience is a plus but not required.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·      Must know production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

·      Must be able to read and interpret work orders.

·      Must be able to inspect materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

·      Must be able to communicate in person to supervisors & co-workers.

·      Must have the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas.

Training Requirements

·      General Safety

·      Bar code printer

·      Foundation knowledge of LGM’s systems, policies & procedures.

Physical Demands

•        Some physical exertion is required.

•        Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

•        Regularly required to stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility.

•        Handling and Moving Objects — Using hands and arms in handling

Personal Protective Equipment:

Safety glasses may be required while performing specific tasks.

Work Environment

Works in a distribution center environment. The Distribution Center environment is not climate controlled. Will be exposed to dust, odors, noise, and heat from a dryer.

THE ROLE

Assembles and routes items by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Processes internal and external customer orders via the Order fulfillment or Shipping functions.

·      Is accountable for meeting quality standards and inventory control expectations.

·      Assists in the shipments of orders and through shipping and packaging functions.

·      Restock bin locations with items daily.

·      Utilize TWL and RF scanners to pick sales orders and transfers.

·      Assist in the shipments of orders and packaging functions.

·      Meets set production expectations in daily assigned work areas.

·      Will routinely work in cross-functional roles to assist in meeting daily production demands.

·      General housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of the dock and inventory area.

·      Ability to be cross-trained in other areas of the DC/Production.

·      Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WMS/TWL experience is a plus

Valid driver’s license.

Training Requirements

●       Proficient and the highest level of knowledge of LGM’s systems, policies & procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
